Emerson's Best of 2009

It's time that everyone posts their year-end best of lists. Summer of 2009 was the first year that Emerson lived with air conditioning, and it made a huge difference in his habits. Without the sluggish months of suffering heat, he had a lot more time to cruise around the house and check things out.

This led to his LP resurgence of 2009:

After 12 months of sorting through the records, these are his top picks for 2009:

1-A.L. Lloyd, Anne Briggs and Frankie Armstrong - The Bird in the Bush

2-Eyehategod - In the Name of Suffering

3-Burial - Untrue

4-The Outsiders - C.Q.

5-H.G. Wells - War of the Worlds (honorable mention)

A SILK FLOWERS GUIDE TO BUYING SOUVENIRS FOR YOUR LOVED ONES

Being away a lot can strain a relationship. Buying things may not be an ideal way to express your feelings but, at the very least it says "I thought of you while I was away". Here Ethan and Peter carefully choose a gift for their significant others. They weigh the options in order to make the best selection.
Sea shells are a wonderful example of organic matter. They posses a complicated beauty only matched by the one you love. Peter is seen here trying to decide which one sounds best and what kind of message will it whisper into his darlings ear?
Ethan asks the age old question: Quality versus quantity?
Color is very important. Which one will highlight my love's radiance?
Human beings are complex creatures. And this aspect of ourselves is magnified when two people come together. For example, How can a horse live under water?

MIAMI

It's a sign of the times when the city of Miami can't afford a proper number 9 for their public calendar.

S.F.S.G.S Alert. No Sea glass found but there was plenty of interesting organic matter.
Rollin' in style.

Bridgette Donahue: Man eater.
Olaf Breuning: Class act.
Brendan Fowler: Mentalist.

Peter is seen here engaging with the cultural dialogue.

Peter Coffin where art thou?!

How much would you pay for a preserved iguana?
I've never seen a more harmonious arrangement.
The humidity in Miami can be tough on your hair...
...and your face too.
A good international pop star can adjust to each city's fashion sense. Here Lizzi displays her Miami style. Is that a Malcolm McClaren Duck Rock t-shirt? It sure is.

Very sad indeed.
