GREEN MANALISHI

My beloved band mates really like Fleetwood Mac. To be honest, Rumors makes me want to throw up. No, seriously. However, their earlier period, before Lindsay Barfingham and Sleazy Nicks, can be pretty rad. Green Manalishi is total proto-metal. It was even covered by Judas Preist! But, even better than that is the super shitty version COC does on Eye For An Eye; which is one of my very favorite early hardcore LP's. Here's a side by side comparison:

Wait for the 1:35 mark.

We got the second press of our 7"s back! 300 more and they're EXACTLY the same as the first pressing. Paypal ramtownusa@gmail.com $7 ppd US $8 outside.

RECORD A RECORD

We've been working VERY hard on our LP. Due out this summer on PPM. Rob Barber has been gracious enough to let us use his apartment while he's away.

The Producer

Ethan laid down some shredding guitar solos on a couple songs. Don't ever let him tell you he hates guitars.

PIZZA BREAK!

Rob's house is not unlike the drum room at Guitar Center.

Surfing. What else would one do during January in Brooklyn?!

FROZEN MOMENTS

It's been MIGHTY COLD here in the Big Apple. I've been going to work quite early and I really enjoy the way the world is at that time.

I wake to witness my window frosted.

7:20 am. 11 degrees.

Another day, 7:15 am. 6 degrees.

Joseph Lowery

Did you guys watch the inauguration? Everyone's favorite part was Joseph Lowery, right? And especially when he said "we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get in back, when brown can stick around ... when yellow will be mellow ... when the red man can get ahead, man; and when white will embrace what is right"? My mom and I were talking about it and she couldn't believe that none of her co-workers knew he was referencing a Leadbelly song, and I said, "totally, I know!" but actually I didn't catch it at all. So anyway I wanted to share it with everyone, couldn't find a version of the Leadbelly song online but did find this Big Bill Broonzy version which is amazing! Please enjoy!

GUILTY PLEASURES: We've all got them.

It hurts to say I feel this song so hard sometimes.

This Friday February 9th, we're playing at Floristree, in Balimore, Maryland. And I really hope some of the people pictured here show up to the show.

We are officially O-U-T OUT of the 7". Thanks so much to everyone who ordered it or bought one at a show. Our minds have been blown at how quickly they went out the door. We are currently pressing another batch of 300 at the plant now. Until then get it from Ooga Booga, Revlover, Golden Age,or Other Music.

Chance Of Showers

It's raining pretty bad today here in New York. Your going to need "A Raincoat".
