Hey everyone

if you would like to listen to our song "Flash of Light" on a computer or download it you can now do so at the website No Pain in Pop. If you go back through their archives there's also a really amazing piece about finding samples from Burial songs. I feel like this is what the internet is for.

SIGN OF THE TIMES

Not only can you buy booze and lotto tickets but, you can get plus size Apple Bottom jeans, get your car washed, and some frito pie. All in one place! USA! USA! USA!....

BEER DRINKERS AND HELL RAISERS

We went to see Grant Hart play early in the afternoon. It was a very bitter sweet performance. He played some of my favorite Husker Du songs in a way that made them almost even more emotionally weighted. Never Talking To You Again was sung as though he'd never talk to ANYONE again.

Dean and Randy: TOTALLY PSYCHED!

The Texas heat was getting to Peter.

The back of this cop car was full of Rock Star energy drink. During SXSW even Austin cops like to party!

This guy kinda looks like if Christian Bale's charecter in American Psycho were to play Cliff Huxtable in The Cosby Show movie.

still got them

A few months ago we played a benefit show for Cleopatra's at Glasslands, it was a fun night. Right before we played, while we were setting up our gear, the DJ played this song and Aviram and I freaked out! I think it's a good thing for us to hear a well-loved song before we start our set. Anyway, I watched the video the other night and there's some really amazing choreography, the weird leg-wiggle thing that they all do especially. Even the drummer does it!

GUILTY PLEASURES: We've all got them.

If ever there were a wuss rock band it would be The Shoes. However, I have been obssesively listening the to Present Tense LP for several months now. Don't judge...
